Job Title: Windows 11 Deployment Project Manager
Location: Remote (Minimal travel to Montgomery AL as needed)
Duration: * This is an 8-Month Contract opportunity *
Hours: 20–40 hours per week
Position Overview
A leading healthcare organization in Montgomery, AL is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale Windows 10 to Windows 11 enterprise deployment.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience managing similar OS upgrade projects, preferably within a healthcare environment, and will be responsible for driving the project from planning through execution and rollout. While the role is primarily remote, occasional onsite travel may be required during key deployment phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for a large-scale Windows 11 deployment
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, security, clinical, and operations
- Oversee device readiness, application compatibility, and deployment strategy
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide regular status updates to leadership
- Support rollout planning, communication, and end-user readiness
- Ensure minimal disruption to clinical and business operations during deployment
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration projects
- Strong background in IT Project Management (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Experience coordinating large-scale enterprise deployments
- Excellent stakeholder communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a healthcare environment
- Familiarity with clinical systems and healthcare IT infrastructure
- Experience with endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune)
- PMP or similar certification preferred
