*Must reside in the state of Texas; role is primarily remote.*

Job Description:

Summary:
Responsible for providing expertise and guidance for system data integrations and interfaces.  Design and perform development for complex multi-tiered integrations.  Able to make decisions aligning with best practices for secure integrations, Epic recommendations, and proper healthcare workflows. Serves as subject matter expert for Epic Bridges, and Epic related integrations among others.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Works with applications and platforms including Corepoint, MFT, and Epic Bridges.
  • Able to design and scope Epic HL7 interfaces according to best practices
  • Design, build, and support integrations using HL7, API/Web Services, FHIR, and
  • MFT/FTP technologies.
  • Participate in 24x7 On call support rotation
  • Provide guidance or mentor for various integration related areas
 
Work Experience:
  • Epic Bridges Certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of Epic Bridges experience with building and supporting interfaces
  • Additional Epic Certifications are helpful
  • Possess experience and strong understanding of order transmittal and workflows within Epic
  • Understanding of hospital and clinical workflows
  • Minimum of 3 years of Corepoint experience
  • XML experience preferred
  • FHIR experience preferred
  • Experience with API and Web Services preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with SQL preferred
  • Experience with architecture and design of complex multi-tiered integrations
  • Strong understanding of security protocols related to Integrations
